Public Speech

In this class, we will be discussing the purpose of speech and why it is important to have public speaking skills. We will also look into famous TED talkers, analyze their formulas of creating a perfect speech, and write speeches that will be shared amongst the class. We will also be doing simple debate. All ages are welcome but preferably 10+.

Starting with the Fall 2022 semester, we will be focusing on writing as well. To be a good speaker means to be a good writer. Students will be taught grammatical rules, diction, syntax, and other useful tools to write well.
